Daffodil Day in Aid of Sobell House, 7th April 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
We are again opening the gardens at Adwell to showcase the amazing collection of daffodils. Over the past years we have planted in excess of 35,000 daffodils and over 350 varieties, so there is plenty to see with a good walk around the lakes if you so wish!
We will be providing delicious cream teas, and plants will be for sale from the garden. All proceeds go to Sobell House, Oxford which provides palliative care for those with life threatening illness, death and bereavement in Oxfordshire.

Other events at Adwell Estate
This year we are holding the Adwell Vintage Vehicle Show on 7th July from 11:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in aid of the Ebony Horse Club. Ebony is based in Brixton, South London, and provides riding lessons to young people who live there. Through contact with horses and ponies, these young people thrive and begin see beyond their immediate surroundings. Ebony is building a second stables in Southwark, and this will involve considerable extra expense. We hope to be able to make a sizeable contribution to that. See www.ebonyhorseclub.org.uk
In September we will again be hosting the hugely popular Rare Plant Fair in aid of Perennial, the charity which supports and advises everyone who works in horticulture, and their families, when times get tough. See www.perennial.org.uk
